Guarantee-Warranty

GUARANTEE on New Equipment: (from date of our invoice)
Any abuse, misuse, breakage or damage due to liquid ingress or battery leakage, fair wear and tear is excluded. NEW electronic equipment (excluding accessories listed below) will have a limited 12-month guarantee against failure due to defective parts, poor quality of manufacturers work or non-conformance of specifications and will be repaired or replaced at our sole discretion

ACCESSORIES - All probes, sensors, electrodes or any working parts in contact with the process, lamps, leads, cables, chargers, batteries or any other accessories will have a limited 3-month guarantee

REPAIRS or service replacement units will have a 3-month guarantee limited to parts replaced and actual work done only

All claims are subject to inspection and goods must be returned to our Randburg office at customers own cost unless otherwise agreed, including proof of purchase, contact information and a brief fault report 

Guarantee is limited to repair or replacement of original equipment only and does not extend to or include any third party specially manufactured goods, special modifications, customization costs, calibration work or certificates of any sort that may have been issued. If it is a specific customer requirement that that goods are modified, customized or for issue of calibration certificates then the cost of such work and re-calibration is for the customer's account

The guarantee does not imply or warrant any liability on the part of AWR Smith Process Instrumentation cc or its suppliers or third-party service providers in any way or form whatsoever for any loss, consequential or liquidated damages which may be incurred by the customer due to failure of the equipment and the equipment is used by the customer with this knowledge at the customers own risk and discretion
